소자의 미세화에 따라 Capacitor 부피가 적어지고 그에 따른 정전용량 감소를 극복하기 위한 방법으로 High-k 물질을 사용하게 되었습니다. High-k Materials로는 현재 ZrO2 및 HfO2가 많이 사용되고 있습니다.
※ k : 유전상수 (값이 클수록 가질 수 있는 전기용량이 큼)
